PROJECT ANNOTATION:

The academic workshop is designated for students of doctoral study programs of economic faculties and is focused primarily on economics and management. It is a two-day event that will take place in the autumn (October/November) of 2017 in the area of the Faculty of Economics of the University of West Bohemia in Cheb and Pilsen. The planned schedule of the workshop is as follows: The first day is devoted to the passing on of experience in the area of R&D from experts (supervisors) or from colleagues from higher years. The second day is aimed at presenting doctoral students’ academic outcomes. The primary goal of this workshop is to share experience and develop cooperation between doctoral program students and their supervisors, or from their colleagues from higher years. A specific goal is to transmit expert knowledge in the area of R&D in the form of training (Day 1) and practical realization of students’ publication and presentation skills (Day 2). Individual sections of the program are expected to focus on R&D and primarily on research methodology, development of publication and presentation skills, and information on grant schemes. Selected papers of doctoral program students will be published in the “Trendy v podnikání” journal based on the results of a peer review.
